The Tourism Council of Bullock County is pleased to offer the 16th Annual RDT SUMMER THEATRE YOUTH CAMP to be held Monday through Friday, June 14-18, 2021, (imes TBA) at the Red Door Theatre.

Award-winning director Kelleybrooke Brown, last year's director, will return to direct this year's camp. She is the Executive Director of the Lighthouse Theatre Company in Albertville, AL, and the Lead Director of the Aggie Theatre for Albertville City Schools. For the last eleven years, KB (as her students and friends call her) has been working with youth in theatre to create educational experiences through competitions, main stage productions, festivals, workshops, and clubs.

Assistant Director Beth Beasley is also returning this summer. She has been heavily involved in all facets of the Red Door Theatre (on the stage and behind it!) for several years. Additionally, not only does she have theatrical experience, Ms. Beasley is a teacher at Union Springs Elementary School.

Camp participants will receive instruction in the areas of acting, voice, choreography, & musical theatre, and a performance will be held Friday evening, June 18. Finsncial aid is available for qualifying students.

The Tourism Council of Bullock County is pleased to offer the 8TH ANNUAL CHILDREN’S SUMMER THEATRE CAMP to be held Monday through Friday, June 14-18, 2021, (times TBA) at the Red Door Theatre.

The children will have fun with songs, line memorization games, and other basic theatre tools to guarantee a fun filled week culminating with a performance Friday evening, June 18.
