Swell Party
BY TOPHER PAYNE

FEBRUARY 14, 15, 16, & 17 —2019

The year is 1932. Tobacco heir Smith Reynolds has just returned to his family’s North Carolina estate from an extended trip to New York. He brings with him a surprising souvenir: a wife! The new Mrs. Reynolds is a popular jazz singer and actress a dozen years older than her husband. But the wedding party is flat-out ruined when the groom turns up dead. As the guests gather along with the County Solicitor to reconstruct the evening’s events and try to solve the mystery, it becomes clear that for Southerners, the truth isn’t nearly as important as a good story!  (www.atlantatheaterfans.com)

JULY 25, 26, 27, & 28 —2019

Five Southern women, whose friendships began many years ago on their college swim team, set aside a long weekend every August to recharge those relationships. Free from husbands, kids, and jobs, they meet at the same beach cottage to catch up, laugh, and meddle in each other’s lives. Over four weekends in a span of 33 years, their lives unfold and each relies increasingly on the others for advice and validation in this hilarious and touching comedy. As the years pass, these women rally 'round their own with the strength and love that takes this comedy in a poignant and surprising direction.

A Doublewide, TX Christmas
BY JESSIE JONES, NICHOLAS HOPE, & JAMES WOOTEN
DIRECTED BY KIM MASON
DEC 5, 6, &, & 8 —2019

In this outrageously funny comedy, it’s Christmas-time in the newest—and tiniest—town in Texas. And it’s beginning to look a lot like trouble in Doublewide. Not only are the trailer park residents dealing with the stress of the holiday season, but they’ve just discovered that Doublewide is being doubled-crossed by the County. By the time this full-tilt rocket ride of lunacy climaxes, you’ll have doubled your Christmas spirit because there’s no place like a good ol’ Texas-sized mobile home for the holidays!
